„Rest on the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles“

'For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.

לו שִׁבְעַת יָמִים, תַּקְרִיבוּ אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה; בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי מִקְרָא-קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהוָה, עֲצֶרֶת הִוא--כָּל-מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה, לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ.

36 ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ· καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ ὀγδόη κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν, καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ· ἐξόδιόν ἐστιν, πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε.
